Rachel Campbell graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2009. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours) from the University of New Brunswick. Clinical internships that she completed during her Master’s degree have broadened her knowledge and skills in the treatment of clients with a variety of orthopaedic, neurological and cardiovascular conditions.
Rachel’s passion lies in helping individuals regain function and pursue an active and healthy lifestyle. She believes that this can be accomplished by setting individual goals for each client, and striving to meet these goals by combining education, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and therapeutic modalities, such as acupuncture.
Rachel continually strives to broaden her scope of practice to ensure that her clinical treatment is up to date and evidence based. She is currently completing her acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation Institute of Canada, as well as her Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Rachel is registered with the College of Physiotherapists on Ontario, and is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Ontario Physiotherapy Association. In her spare time, Rachel loves to stay active. She enjoys volleyball, basketball, ultimate frisbee and is currently training for a half marathon.
